"STA HOSP"
Station Hospitals zouden algemene medische en chirurgische zorg bieden op die locaties waar genoeg militaire troepen zouden zijn om een medische installatie te vereisen, maar waar het aantal de plaatsing van een "General Hospital" niet rechtvaardigde. In de "Zone of Interior" zouden ze posten, kampen en militaire stations ondersteunen die in de basisgebouwen zijn gehuisvest. In het "Theatre of Operations" zouden ze worden opgezet in tenten of geïmproviseerde gebouwen. Ze konden 25 tot 900 patiënten huisvesten. De tabel hieronder geeft de personeelsbezetting aan naargelang de hoeveelheid van bedden.
Station Hospitals were to provide general medical and surgical care at those locations where there were enough military forces to require a medical installation, but where the numbers did not justify the placement of a "General Hospital". In the "Zone of Interior" they were to support posts, camps, and military stations housed in base buildings. In the "Theatre of Operations" they were to be set up in tents or makeshift buildings.
